I really do stitch I swear!!

Yup that is how it seems to be these days. I stitch a few hours a night but in the morning when I wake up and look at my WIP it looks like I did not accomplish anything the night before. I think it's a conspiracy!! The FROGS visit me at night and rip out stitches. Yup, that's my story and I'm sticking to it HaHa.

But I will prove to you that I am stitching and not just swooning over sweet puppy breathed cuties and wondering how I can smuggle one home. Wait did I just say that out loud?? Pretend you did not hear that ;)

My picture from my last WIP update seems to have went missing and was replace with a blank space Hmmpphhh. Picasa Albums can be touchy sometimes I guess.

Puppy updates prepare to say Awwwww

Do you all remember those puppies I helped find a safe place to go till they found homes? Well the Westie Rescue lady called me yesterday and gave me a progress report on these sweet babies.

Trixie and her puppies are being fostered in a home in Carmel. They have doubled in size and Trixie, the mama, enjoys her time at the beach. One of the puppies has already been placed in a home, and the black puppy Bubba will be placed later this week. Here they are in all their cuteness.

First picture is of Trixie the Mama to these cute babies followed by Vinnie, Lip, Bubba, Blu, and Fiona. I am so happy that Westie Rescue of Northern California were there to help out these sweet babies. Trully a blessing for these dogs :)

I do hope you enjoyed these pictures, I was overjoyed when she emailed me them to me I can't stop looking at them and thinking how lucky they are :)

Today is my last day off before I go back to work for a few days. It is going to be in the 70's so I plan on grilling out today and getting some stitching in. It's going to be a beautiful day!!

Take Care and thank you for stopping by I always love reading the comments I do recieve.

Some new stash on this Monday Funday...

EDITED*** MY pictures that I had up are gone ?!?! I don't know what happened. I also switched over to the new goole format BLEECHHH I DONT LIKE IT!! JJ's Collectibles was having a spring sale this past weekend and since it really had been a long time since I bought any new stash I thought it would be a great time to treat myself.

I wanted to get a Blackbird Design booklet. I had a hard time deciding but I finally decided on this one.

I also purchased some Needlepoint Silks, because I am hoping to start a new WIP soon and wanted to try these. I hope I do not fall in love with these silks because they a tad over my budget haha..

This is the design I am stitching now. . I have been stitching on this for the past week or so. Hopefully by Wednesday I will be done so I can move onto something else.

MIA...Beach and Zumba

This title pretty much sums up my last week. April is a celebration month. DH's birthday was on the 4th and our wedding anniversary is on the 14th. We decided to rent a house on a bluff over looking the Pacific Ocean. We spent 4 wonderful sun filled days just relaxing, and looking at the beautiful scenery. Here are just a few photos from the trip.

And this picture, though it looks gross was a pretty awesome sight. A few days before our trip they were having some storms down this way, which resulted in rough surf. So what washed up was Giant Clams, and I'm talking HUGE 5-8 inches wide. Also lots of starfish, there were a couple people gathering them up and putting them back in the water to see if they were alive. Also part of a boat that sunk off shore a month ago washed up. It was a very interesting walk

I hope you have enjoyed today's post. I am off to my very first ZUMBA class with my neighbor. I will post tomorrow if I'm still alive LOL

Take Care

Things that make me happy

Today marks 13 days till my 12Th wedding anniversary. And I started thinking about the journey I have been on with my love. We have lived in 4 different states, moved across the country 6 different times and made best friends with everyone I've meet along the way.
****THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY***

Coffee

The sun on my face

The sound of the ocean

Taste of salt in the air

A good Powder day *skiing*

My sweet dogs

The smell of my husbands t-shirts

A good glass of red wine

A wood burning fire

A good rain shower

Listening to the thunder

Hearing a baby laugh

Being snowed in with now where to go

True friends

Smell of fresh cut grass

Autumn
