Estate sale treasures

Over the weekend I attended my first Estate Sale ran by these guys Estate Sale Guys I follow them on facebook and let me tell ya, they really do a great job!! Not only do they post a TON of pictures prior to the sale but they are so help full and just great! Well anywhoo I went to this sale on Friday, the main reason for going was this person LOVED cross stitch. There were so many beautiful samplers all around the home. One in paticular was my favorite but it was a tad over my budget, but the work was outstanding.... Now I only bought two small pieces and I am not sure if any one bought the other stuff and I am really curious as to where the pieces go if not sold???

There is a photo album on their web site, click on the tab titled Sales Gallery and then on the link Friarsgate Estate Sale you can browse through all the beautiful things this home had to offer.

Here are the two lovely pices I bought

And this one has a discription of the sample on the back of the frame

Here is a link with a bit of info on Elizabeths sampler NSCDA

It amazing to think about all the care and love this person put into her work and then it is sold at estate, I do hope the family kept some of her pieces. I am going to make it known that if anything should ever happen to me I want my husband to know who to give my stash to and all my un framed finished pieces :)

Day three of this miserable cold/allergies. I bought some Zicame and taking benadryl before I head into work tonight. I don't feel horrible until late in the evening that is when I get these coughing fits, I literally feel like Im going to cough up a lung. So I will pre medicate myself before work. Wish me luck :)

Have a wonderful Wednesday friends.
