everyday is a blessing

Sometimes I can take things for granted, I am sure everyone has done so. But when I sit back and think about the blessings I have had in my life, even the smallest ones, I am able to smile with a grateful heart. As my dad would say " Every day aove ground is a good day"

This week has been filled with wonderful events. We helped find the owner of a lost dog. I named him Tucker, only to find out his name was Hunter.
He jumped out of someones truck. He was just the sweetest thing ever. My husband and I feel in love with him but we knew he had a home elsewhere/

Last week I noticed this
now there are four little birds.

This is probably the last picture I will take, the parents are very protective, even when I am nowhere near the bush that the nest is in they swoo[ down and threaten to poke my eyes out.... I need those for stitching.

Which BTW has been slow going. I am working on Star Spangled Garden by CCN and the banner has alot of white, someone suggested I stitch some white areas and them stitch a flower and rotate but knowing me I will just leave the white area till the very end and never finsih it, so I am going to chug along and get it knoced out by this week.

I will leave you with a picture of my sweet Samson.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Monday. Almost the weekend WooHoo! Take care!

  1. That's so great that you were able to reunite the lost dog and his owner, Natasha! I'm sure they were both very happy to see each other!

Such sweet baby birds--it always amazes me how quickly they grow and fly away... Samson looks very content in that spring sunshine :)
